Contract ISPA 2005/RO/16/P/PE/004-2- „Water Supply Facilities (including reservoirs, pumping stations, well field rehabilitations and transmission main)”

The work at the water contract has begun on the 29th of February 2008 and up to this moment, the work has been prerformed in Burdujeni district (Burdujeni village), George Enescu Market and at the reservoirs Burdujeni 2 and Burdujeni 3.
In Burdujeni Village, the water network has been extended on the Căpitan Grigore Andrei, Alunului, Ştefan Răzvan, Eternităţii, Pictor Panaiteanu, Dobrilă Eugen and Făgetului Streets and in George Enescu Market, 254 m from the existing water systems have been replaced. At the reservoirs complex Burdujeni 2 (400mc) work of rehabilitation has been executed and, at the Burdujeni 3 reservoir (500mc), a newly projected water reservoir building work has begun.
Since the 17th of January 2008, the date of work initiation, in the Sewerage Contract there has been made work in Burdujeni District (Burdujeni Village), George Enescu Square, Burdujeni retention basin and Mirăuţi retention basin.
In Burdujeni Village, the sewerage network has been extended on Căpitan Grigore Andrei , Alunului, Iasomiei, Eternităţii, Ştefan Răzvan, Cuz Vodă, Ecaterina Teodoroiu, Crângului, Plevnei, 22 Decembrie, Spicului, Victor Babeş, Mioriţei, Ştefan Luchian and Ion Nistor Streets, and in George Enescu Market, 454 meters of the existing sewerage network have been replaced.
At Burdujeni (1300 m) and Mirăuţi (8000 mc) Retention Basins the execution work has begun.
By means of Cleaning and TV inspection systems, sewerage pipes from the sewerage network with diameters between 250-800 mm have been cleaned and inspected. Presently, the cleaning operation sums up a total length of 8430 m out of the provided total of 23053 m, and video camera inspection has been executed up to the present on a total length of 3460 m from the provided 21220 m.
Since the 11th of March 2008, the date of work initiation, in the rehabilitation and modernization of the Wastewater Treatment Plant of Suceava City, the work has begun with the demolation of some existing structures in view to settle new buildings on the same place.
